The Parks & Facilities department maintains eight parks in Highlands County, where residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including hiking, fishing, bird watching, boating, nature trails, playgrounds, picnicking, swimming, and more.

Highlands County parks are open from dawn until dusk.
Things to remember when visiting one of our parks:
- No reservations for picnic tables or pavilions
- Pick up your trash
- Playground equipment is not regularly sanitized
