Facilities staff work behind the scenes providing building maintenance, repairs, and custodial services. This includes preventative maintenance, renovations, response to emergency repairs, unscheduled maintenance services and custodial support. This division is responsible for 46 county buildings that include the Courthouse, Government Center, health departments, and libraries.
Services provided by Facilities include:
- Planning, maintaining, managing, and operating of County facilities in a safe, accessible, and cost-effective manner.
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural systems maintenance, repair and replacement at County facilities.
- Operation and maintenance of monitoring and security systems for the Courthouse, Government Center.
- Custodial services that include cleaning restrooms, dusting, floor care, disposing of trash, event set-up, and emergency response.
- Compliance with ADA in County facilities
