Development Review is one of the functions of the Engineering department. Engineering is responsible for reviewing all Concurrency, and Commercial and Residential Site Plans and Plats for the unincorporated areas of the County in accordance with the Highlands County Code of Ordinances Land Development Regulations and the Highlands County Technical Standards Manual.
Chapter 12 of The Highlands County Code of Ordinances Land Development Regulations provides provisions for developing property. The Highlands County Technical Standards Manual provides technical specifications, forms and illustrations associated with developing property.
