Highlands County periodically offers surplus property for sale through competitive bidding or auction. Available properties and sales opportunities are advertised through the appropriate online platforms.

County-Owned Surplus Property Sales
Highlands County uses GovDeals for online auctions and Bidnet Direct to advertise applicable property sale solicitations and provide access to official solicitation documents.
Only property owned by Highlands County is sold through this process. Properties owned by other government entities or offered through tax deed sales are handled separately.

Vendors and interested buyers are encouraged to register for a free account with Bidnet Direct to receive notifications about applicable property sale solicitations.
During registration, select the relevant products or services categories to help identify property sale opportunities. Suggested categories include:

Registration is free. BidNet Direct may offer additional fee-based services, but payment is not required to access Highlands County solicitation documents.

Tax Deed Sales
