Tasha Morgan began her career with the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners in December of 2016 as the Business Services Director. She served in that capacity for 16 months before being selected as the Assistant County Administrator in March 2018 and voluntarily returned to the position of Business Services Director in March 2020. Tasha received a master's degree in Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, both from the University of North Florida. She holds the designation as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Government Financial Manager.
The Business Services Department is responsible for all business-related activities of the Board of County Commissioners. Business Services staff works in coordination with each Board department and the Clerk of Courts Office to ensure that the day-to-day operating needs of Board departments are met.
The Business Services Department is located in the Government Center at 600 S. Commerce Ave. in downtown Sebring and includes the following divisions:
- Human Resources
- Office of Management & Budget / Non-Ad Valorum Assessment
- Risk Management
