Commissioner Campbell was raised in Florida since he was 3 years old. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a major in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and owns his own insurance agency.

Commissioner Campbell and his wife of over 20 years, Linda, have two boys, Clayton and Cody. Linda is a second grade teacher at Lake Placid Elementary School.
