To access the portal, click on the image above.

If you are not a contractor, you should create a Public User Account.
This includes:
  • Residents
  • Property owners
  • Anyone applying for permits or reporting issues
How to Create an Account
  1. Open the eTRAKiT Self-Service Portal
  2. Click “Setup an Account” (top right corner)
    Set up account
  3. Fill out all required fields
All fields must be completed to create your account.
You will receive an email to confirm registration. Click on the confirmation link in that email to finalize your account set up.
Be sure to save your username and password. County staff cannot access your password.

How to Log In
  1. Go to the login screen
  2. Select “Public” from the dropdown
  3. Enter your username and password
What You Can Do
  • Once logged in, you can:
  • View open permits
  • Apply for:
    • Homeowner/occupant building permits
      (You must own and live in the home)
    • Driveway permits
    • Special event permits
    • Development projects
    • Development review
  • Search for properties
  • Report code complaints
  • Search existing code complaints and/or code violations
  • Check application status
  • Request inspections
    (Note: For driveway permits, inspectors have up to 5 business days from the requested date to complete the inspection)
Following a Permit or Project
You can “follow” a permit or project to track updates.

To do this:
  1. Use the “Link” option at the top of your dashboard
  2. Select the permit, project, or license
  3. It will appear on your dashboard
You can remove it at any time using the “Unlink” option.

Viewing Full Details
Some information (like documents or inspection results) may be limited.

To see full details:
  • You must be listed as a contact on the permit
  • Your name, address, and email must match your account exactly
