The Senior Administrative Assistant & Grant Coordinator position is part of the Highlands County Board of County Commissioner’s Administrative Office. 

This position tracks the County’s legislative priorities as they move from the Board of County Commissioners to the Florida Legislature, while building relationships with the Highlands County legislative delegation, other lawmakers, and stakeholders on both a state and federal level. This position also serves as the point of contact for legislators and their staffers.

The coordinator oversees the County’s grant efforts by working with the Office of Management and Budget as well as the Highlands County Clerk of Courts’ Accounting office to assemble quarterly grant reports and keeping a database of the county grants and projects.
