Memorial Trailhead Park

Memorial Trailhead Park is the County's newest neighborhood park and its first in Avon Park! It is a family-friendly space with a playground, covered pavilion, and plenty of parking.

 Memorial Trailhead Park is the County's newest neighborhood park and its first in Avon Park! It is a family-friendly space with a playground, covered pavilion, and plenty of parking.

Found at the southeast corner of South Memorial Drive and Panther Parkway, the park has:

•    Playground

•    Covered picnic pavilion 

•    Water fountain

•    Green space

•    Multi-use path that connects to current path on Panther Parkway

•    Parking

All but the parking lot and the multi-use path is fenced. 

Bathrooms are going to be built at a future date! 

Families will enjoy the expansive green space and playground, which is great fun for kids ages 5-14 with a climbing wall, enclosed rope walk, slides, monkey bars and climbing structure, and swings.

As always, if you are going to enjoy time outside while at this park, be sure to bring mosquito repellant, sunscreen and bottled water with you. The park does not have public restroom facilities yet, so please plan accordingly.
